Robotic Welding Cell for Small Railway Car Assemblies

The robotic production cell is designed for the automated welding of small railway car assemblies with high precision and consistent weld quality.
The solution is intended for manufacturers seeking to maintain stable utilization of welding resources, increase productivity, and standardize product quality.

The cell is based on a Fanuc ARC Mate 710iC/12L industrial welding robot integrated with automated MIG/MAG welding equipment. This configuration provides high welding speed and consistent weld quality even under intensive operating conditions.
The system features two working stations, eliminating downtime associated with loading and unloading parts and maximizing equipment utilization.
Process automation completely minimizes the impact of human factors and ensures uniform weld quality throughout all stages of production, regardless of production volume or component complexity.

Key Benefits

  • Consistent weld quality for small assemblies;
  • Increased productivity compared to manual welding;
  • Reduced scrap and rework costs;
  • High repeatability of welding operations;
  • Rapid integration into existing production infrastructure.

Implementation Results
The implementation of the robotic welding cell enables customers to improve welding efficiency, reduce operating costs, and ensure stable production output while maintaining high quality standards as production volumes grow.
